The Gables, Tadcaster

The Gables (LS24 8DP) is a 3 bedroom Edwardian Villa in a quiet part of Tadcaster, ideally situated between York (9 miles) and Leeds (14 miles) and close to many popular wedding venues. Holidaymakers and workers visiting the town are equally welcome. We live next door, so we'll always be happy to help. For those wanting to visit York, the Park and Ride at Askham Bar is 10 minutes away and a better option than parking in York. The Gables is a large Edwardian Villa located on a quiet, leafy "no through" lane. It has a private garden at the back with a seating and BBQ area. There is on street parking always available right outside the house. The dining room has a wood burning stove and a large table. The kitchen is fully equipped. The living room has a Smart TV, DVD player and Hi-fi system. Bedroom 1 has a king size double bed, Bedroom 2 has a double bed and Bedroom 3 has twin beds. Guests will have access to the whole house and private back garden. We live right next door and will be available and happy to help with any issues or queries. Check-in details will be provided in good time and we will be present on your arrival. Languages spoken in our house - English, Spanish, Latin, some French, German and Italian. Tadcaster is a small market town with a variety of shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs and takeaways - all available within a 5-10 minute walk. There is also a public swimming pool. The house is a 5 minute walk away from the River Wharfe, and there are several walks based around the river. Tadcaster is ideally placed to access York, Leeds, Harrogate, the Yorkshire Dales, the North York Moors and Coast. The bus park is a 5 minute walk and there are regular buses to York, Leeds and the Coast. 10 minutes from the M1 motorway. There are lots of good local walks - there will be routes available in the house and we are happy to help further. The area is one of the most popular road cycling areas in the country and it's also good for mountain biking.
