We reside in a quiet residential neighbourhood in Colchester called Lexden. There is an Earth Works and nature park with lake in spitting distance.. A short stroll from convenience stores, a barbershop and two pubs! Colchester Town Centre, which is the Oldest Recorded Roman Town in England is approx a 30 minute walk... Why not take a stroll through Colchester's Castle and it's attractive gardens. For those who require a dining experience there are a number of fine restaurants. For Art lovers there are many galleries including our famous architectural designed 'Firstsite'. Music lovers and 'Theatre Goers' are catered for with Colchester Arts Centre and Mercury and Headgate Theatres. A broad selection of live bands here play here. Wild life and Animal enthusiasts should check out Colchester's World Famous Zoo. If visiting friends or family at Essex Uni, we're only a 20 minute drive away. Need to see places to visit on the outskirts of Colchester. Mersea Island is a beautiful place to spend a day. Food lovers need to indulge in Mersea's World Famous Company Shed and local Native Oysters with a variety of seafood cuisine, including Lobster and Crab.
