Field View Studio Tatterford,5 miles from Fakenham

Located in a quiet picturesque part of rural Norfolk, near to Fakenham with its weekly market, auction, golf course & Racecourse. The North Norfolk coast is only a 20min drive away with the delights of Holkham Wells, Brancaster, all the Burnhams, Hunstanton & further a field the Broads and Gt Yarmouth For bird watchers there's Hawk the & Owl Trust (1mile) also Pensthorpe Titchwell & Cley bird observatory. The Stately houses of Sandringham, Holkham, Houghton, Blickling are close by too Field View is a cosy self contained studio, accessed via external staircase with everything required for a comfortable stay. The open plan studio has a lounge area with sofa and TV, a fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar, a double bed and unsuite with a shower. Being in an elevated position the studio offers stunning views over the countryside both from the juliette balcony and the front stairway which also over looks the large, garden and fields. The studio also has a ground floor decking area which guests can sit and unwind, relax with a drink and take in the peace and quiet, have a bbq or wander round the paddock down to the extra seating by the fish pond We are pet friendly and accept well behaved small pets, ie two small dogs or one larger dog but PLEASE check with us first. We prefer you do not allow them on the furniture especially the bed . Also that you do not leave them unattended in the hut or garden. Guests have access to the lawn area to exercise their dogs on the condition that they clear up after them . Syderstone Common is just a mile down the road providing a wonderful 108 acre walking area. There are plenty walks including parks, beaches and also lots of pubs locally which allow dogs inside and some even do doggie menus too Also at the bottom of the paddock we have our Shepherds Hut, Shepherds Delight https://abnb.me/jmZ9DtEcJgb so friends or family could stay too There is decking area with table and chairs to sit and relax beside the lawn. There is a small bbq. Also guests can walk round a very large enclosed lawn down to the pond where there is a garden bench to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside Nigel the owner lives in the house in front of Field View Studio.. Now retired and enjoys being the head gardener!! :-) He will be around if you need help with anything during your stay . Tatterford is a small and very quiet village perfect place to switch off and unwind. Whether you go walking, cycling, bird watching or touring, visiting relatives or just want to escape from it all, the Studio is an ideal base to explore the beautiful countryside, many beaches and countless other attractions that North Norfolk has to offer. Pensthorpe Wildlife Park, The Thursford Collection, Langham Glass and the beaches of the North Norfolk Coast are all within an ½hr drive. Also close by are Burnham Market, the Royal Sandringham Estate and Holkham Hall. There are great places for meals within a 5min driving distance for example The Aviator at Sculthorpe Also there are plenty of gastro pubs within just a few miles - The Aviator at Sculthorpe and Sculthorpe Mill ,The Duck at Stanhoe, The Crown at East Rudham, The Rose and Crown at Harpley and The Dabbling Duck at Great Massingham are all recommended. (Many take dogs too ) At Four Winds back up the road tuning left on to the A148 there is a convenience store which provides essentials from newspapers, bread, milk frozen food and much more. Also a cafe for cooked breakfast even a car wash too Fakenham has Morrisons Tesco, Lidl and Aldi too Also a market and auction on Thursdays Tatterford has numerous country lanes leading to the surrounding villages ideal for cycling and walking and the north norfolk coast is a short drive away (12 miles to Wells-Next-The-Sea) with all the coastal walks to look forward too.
