The Workshop is a contemporary newly built 2 bedroom house situated on a quiet road just off Ventnor High Street with its cafes, bars and shops and walking distance to a family friendly sand and shingle beach. On opening the designer gate to the house from street level there is a small private enclosed patio area where there is bench seating. Once inside there is a bedroom with a zip and link bed with built in wardrobe with drawers, dressing table, 32" flat screen smart TV and further along the hall there is an well equipped open-plan kitchen and dining space for 6 with bi-fold doors out onto the lower patio which has seating for 6 and a coffee table which adjusts to a dining table. There are steps to an upper patio area with dining table for 6 and a gas BBQ and access to a garden room where everyone will enjoy chilling out. On the first floor there is a master bedroom with king size bed and built in wardrobe with drawers and mirrors, 32" flat screen smart TV and dressing table and ensuite bathroom with double sinks and walk-in shower. There is also a comfortable living area with large sofa seating for 5 plus additional armchair and 49" flat screen smart TV. There is a door to a furnished terrace with views of Ventnor High Street and seating for 4. A property manager is on call during your stay. Set in the Victorian seaside resort of Ventnor, The Workshop is perfect for families keen to enjoy the attractions of the Isle of Wight and Ventnor itself. Ventnor Beach with its vintage beach huts and the Esplanade with its pubs, cafes and restaurants are just minutes’ walk away, and a bit further along the coast is the beautiful spot of Steephill Cove which if you love locally caught crab is the place to go! On your doorstep are some of the Wight’s most popular eateries like the Smoke and Lobster, The Bistro or La Cantina. A short distance from the seafront at the Western side of the town you can stroll through the beautiful Victorian Ventnor Park, which won the "Park of the Year Award" at the South and South East England in Bloom awards in 2014. This leads onto the famous Ventnor Botanic Gardens at the Undercliff, where the town’s micro-climate can be truly appreciated in a 22 acre sub-tropical paradise. A short drive along the coast is one of the Isle of Wight’s best known attractions, Blackgang Chine, and regular events are hosted here to entertain all the family. Parking permits will be provided. The property will be available from 3pm on your day of arrival and check out time on the day of departure is 10am. The property is equipped with everything you will need, including utilities, bed linen and towels.
