Manor House Farm - Bedroom 1

Manor House Farm is a lovely family home approximately 1.5 miles from the market town of Thirsk. Thirsk station is a mile from the house and is on the East Coast Mainline with direct trains to York and further afield. Bedroom 1 is a large king-size bedroom, with toddler bed and en-suite, on the first floor. Please note we also have another bedroom listed as “Bedroom 2” which can sleep up to 4, having two double beds. Wi-Fi and local tourist information available in the room. Guests are welcome to use the family kitchen to make drinks and have breakfast (provided by your hosts, supplement of £7.50 for adults £5 for children up to 12 years) please provide 24 hours notice of your requirements, which can be eaten in the kitchen or private living room. The private living room on the ground floor has a TV, DVD player and log burner where guests can relax and when the weather allows you are very welcome to relax in the beautiful garden and use of the gas BBQ. We are very easy going family and enjoy helping with any requests including advice on places to visit and eat in the local area. We can also help with lifts to Thirsk station and to other venues near by. We have Bella the Labrador, flopsy the rabbit and a cat called Dusty, all family friendly. The village is located on the A61, Leeds to Thirsk, road. The nearest settlements are Thirsk, 1.5 miles to the east; Sandhutton 1 mile to the north-west; Skipton-on-Swale 1.6 miles to the south-west. The village is well served by bus services to and from Thirsk. There is a Post Office situated to the east of the village. There is a playing field.There are a number of public houses, and a fishing lakes. We allow well behaved dogs at a cost of £5 each per night.
