Holiday guest house is a 3 room guest house in the center of the beautiful small town Stykkisholmur. Everything the town has to offer is within a walking distance. Breakfast is not included. Self check-in. This room is on ground floor and has comfortable queen size bed with nice duvet and pillow and luxury linen. Hairdryer, mirror and a clock. Guests have access to: - two shared bathrooms, one with a shower. (shared with 2 other rooms) - a living room with sofas, toys and puzzles for the kids, table and chairs. - the garden where the kids can play football - sundecks with tables and chairs. - Guests can make coffee and tea and use the microwave oven, plates, glasses and cutlery. - Notice: there is not a stove. Check yourself in with the lockbox. Everything the town has to offer is within a walking distance: Gym and swimming pool 115 m. The water in the hot tub is very good for you skin – it is similar to the water in Baden Baden in Germany. Bus stop at the harbour 450 m - between us and the harbour are the restaurants, art galleries, museums and ATM. In Stykkisholmur we have a Library of water, an installation by Roni Horn, Volcano museum and The Norwegian House from 1832, a regional museum for Snaefellsnes. You can go sea angling or bird watching with Ocean adventures; or taste the oceans delicacies with Seatours; a day tour around the Snæfellsnes peninsula with Way out west. The car ferry Baldur sails to the Westfjords, with a stop in the island Flatey. The bus stop at Olis is 350 m away and the bus stop at the harbour is 450 m away. Free parking at the guest house. By car: Drive road 1, 54 and 56. Or take bus 57 from Reykjavik to Borgarnes, then bus 58 from Borgarnes to Stykkisholmur. The ferry Baldur sails to the Westfjords, with a stop in the island Flatey. It is customary in Iceland to remove your shoes when you enter a home. You can choose to leave your shoes at the entrance or carry them to your room.
