⭑ Fairytale House - Enchanted Getaway in Bospark

It is our mission to bring you a unique vacation experience which combines art, nature and sustainability. In 2018 musician, Elyse Louise, bought The Fairytale House from artist Daniel Douglas, who built the garden room from 2014-2017. The house is decorated using almost entirely recycled materials combined with bright colors and repurposed antique furniture. The house hosts live-in art exhibitions including the current exhibition of the New Light series by Daniel Douglas. In the garden room there are two fish ponds with fountains creating an aquaponic garden. In the front yard is a mushroom garden and fruit trees. The enchanted getaway is located in the town of Hattemerbroek, in the Bospark Ijsselheide vacation park. Nearby there are beautiful trails through the forest and the heather in the Wezepsche Heide with wild grazing cows. Or you can enjoy the swimming and sauna at either of the two local swimming pools, about 7 minutes away by bike. The Fairytale House is the perfect place to relax, work on creative projects, or host a small retreat.
