Our 4 MegaPods, are situated in tranquil woodland surrounded by forest walks, and nature reserves; ideal for lakeside contemplation and bird-watching. Please bring everything you would as though you were camping (THAT IS: BEDDING, TOWELS AND COOKING EQUIPMENT). This accommodation is NOT dog friendly but we have two other MegaPods that are dog friendly. Please ask! Our site, situated just four miles from the East Anglian market town of Bury St Edmunds, is home to various types of accommodation including four cosy MegaPods, a more spacious Woodland Lodge (if you want to park directly outside) and our most recent addition: Pod Hollow, a homely, halfling-inspired subterranean dwelling. What we believe is our unique selling point, is the fact that our site is located in a fantastic woodland setting, where peace and tranquillity and getting back to nature, are guaranteed! We pride ourselves on providing a first rate service; from welcoming our guests and informing them all about the area, to the information provided before the visit. We are always available if needed but discreetly absent, if not! Within minutes of West Stow Pods, there is abundunt lush countryside, featuring river-side and lake-side walks, the King's Forest and The Anglo-Saxon Village Country Park, where stepping back in time is a given! (Featuring a very nice children's play area and cafe!) There are numerous activities within walking distance. We often welcome guests who arrive by train and taxi. Bury St Edmunds is a fantastic area to explore...from cycling, walking, horse-riding, fishing, bird-watching to the "independent shopping" arena of Bury itself, which is famed for its eateries of all descriptions.
