House in the Hills&Woods, 6-20 guests, Prague 20km

A 6 room house @ sauna, nice 1 room cottage, with a beautiful garden on the hills in the famous National Park of Krivoklat. Nature, walk trails, tens of km of cycling paths right next to the house. Large garden is ideal for sunbathing, team sports. There is also place for grilling with outdoor seating. The lower half of the property is in the woods near a creek. Prague is just 20km away by car. Up to 25 guests can sleep here. There are 2 bathrooms. Wonderful views to the surrounding valley! Fully equipped in modern and 1940's style. Lots of solid wood in the interiors, a big gathering room with a great view, close contact with nature in a nice countryside neighborhood. The property offers great privacy in a neighborhood with few houses nearby. About 10 minutes walking from the house is "Srub Podkozi", a famous bar & restaurant made entirely of logs. At the foot of the house there is a beautiful stream. On the opposite hill there is a dense forest where you can walk in almost untouched nature. The easiest way to shop is with the online supermarket Rohlík which delivers in 2 hours with very good prices. Otherwise full shopping is possible in Rudna, about 12 minutes by car. The closest gas station is 5 minutes by car in Libecov. You can get to the house by car and there is free parking for 4 cars in the garden. Public transportation is available only about 3km from the house but not too practical. We recommend coming by car. To go to Prague take a taxi to Rudna and then the train 20 minutes to Prague Smichov. From there Naplavka is just across the river past the railway bridge which you can walk. Check the train times on idos.cz There are a lot of stairs in the house and on the hills. We don't recommend coming with low sporty cars: the access road is rural for about 1km and about 200m of quite bad road. In heavy snow access can be difficult especially on this last 200m. IMPORTANT: the house is in the middle of the forest. It is very important not to open the windows with the lights on, or you will have large amounts of insects flying inside!
