Lovely cosy cottage with secluded south facing garden. Set in the Hampshire countryside and in the grounds of a Georgian Farmhouse. Spacious sitting room with open log fire. Modern kitchen and bathroom. A beautiful south facing converted barn with gorgeous oak beams. Stunning views to the Hampshire Countryside. Recently refurbished with a modern kitchen and bathroom. There is a spacious sitting room with an open log fire and a french door leading to a secluded south facing garden. An open plan well fitted kitchen and dining room including oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave, large fridge , small freezer and a larder cupboard. A downstairs cloakroom with a washing machine, tumble dryer and loo which leads from the hall. Upstairs there is a large beamed double bedroom and a twin bedroom. Egyptian cotton bed linen is used throughout. Both bedrooms have stunning views. We have a raised air bed for a fifth person which is shown on a small landing space in the photographs and there is a bathroom which has a bath but only a shower attachment on the bath taps for washing hair etc. As we have had so many bookings for 4 guests we have now put 2 single beds in the second bedroom which is quite small but perfectly adequate. The price remains for 3 people but there is a small charge to cover the laundry for additional guests. A cot is also available . Please ask when booking. We provide a welcome basket with provisions for breakfast for the next day. The entire cottage is for the sole use of guests We live in the farmhouse and are able to help with anything guests require but we shall leave you to enjoy the seclusion of the lovely cottage and views of the countryside. The cottage is 2 miles from the historic village of Odiham with several pubs and restaurants, post office, bank, supermarket and many lovely gift shops. Crondall village has a couple of lively pubs is 2 miles in the other direction towards Farnham which is a larger market town with numerous enticing shops, bars etc. The Four Seasons Hotel is a 1 mile away which has several restaurants, bars and a spa. Guildford is half an hour away and is a beautiful market town with London type shops and a delightful theatre. The Cathedral City of Winchester to the West. Gilbert Whites's House in the village of Selborne. The popular Watercress Steam Railway Line runs from Alton to Alresford. Nearby places of interest to visit: Jane Austins House at Chawton, The Vine, West Green House, Stratfield Saye, Gilbert White's House, Yvonne Arnaud Theatre in Guildford. Opera at West Green House. The nearest railway station is Winchfield which is approx 50 minutes from London Waterloo. Winchfield is 7 minutes by car. It may be possible to pick up guests from the station with prior arrangement. However there are taxi companies available. We are 5 minutes by car from Junction 5 of the M3. 30 miles from Heathrow International Airport. 48 miles from London Gatwick Airport. PLEASE NOTE There is Fibre Broadband so that guests can work from home. No pets allowed No smoking in the cottage The cleaning fee only covers for cleaning and for the sheets being sent to the laundry after guests have left. When guests stay for a longer period I can arrange for my cleaner to come weekly and if you would like clean sheets, they can be sent to the laundry but this is not covered by Airbnb and I will ask you for a separate payment * A cleaning fee of £30 per week * A Laundry charge of £15 per person We also trust that our guests will tell us before they leave of any damages or breakages which must be paid for.
