Double room, clean, comfortable and spacious in the comfort of a home for those who don't just want to be stuck in one hotel room. 10 min walk to Stadium of Light, city centre, Sunderland Empire, coast, river, national glass centre. Perfect for families, couples and employees working from home Large terraced house, spacious, airy and welcoming. Sky Tv, wifi, fully equipped kitchen, washroom and bathroom. Double Bedroom, with storage space including wardrobe, drawers and cabinet. Another double bedroom available. Free Parking, access to secure back yard with electric shutter if needed when concerts and football matches are on. In between two family homes both lovely, helpful and respectful with noise etc. Towels and bedding are provided. A light Breakfast will be left for you in the kitchen around 9am or earlier if required. If I'm not in please help yourselves. Ten minute walk to football Stadium of light which hosts several concerts a year including Beyoncé, Rhianna and Coldplay to name a few. 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive to city centre. The marina and coast are a mere 5-10 minute walk away and lots of walks nearby along the river and to the local parks. The coast hosts the famous Royal Airshow each July and is a major tourist attraction providing entertainment for all of the family. The Glass Centre is an interesting tourist attraction and is less than half a mile away. Walking distance to a range of restaurants, cafes and bars One bathroom which will be shared You have access to your room, the kitchen, utility, back yard, washroom and lounge. I or my friend will greet you on your visit and show you around and hand over keys etc. I do live there but rarely in so you will be left to your own devices. If I am there I will give you the privacy you require and you have plenty of your own space to relax and feel at home. If I'm not there for checkout please make sure you leave at checkout time and you lock the door and post the key through the letter box. It's a ten minute walk down to the marina and onto the coast. The famous Airshow is shown here every July and vastly covers the coast up until the edge of season right from Roker Pier for 2-3 days. We really do have a beautiful coastline covering all the way up to Whitburn from Roker. From Whitburn you have beautiful cliff top walks right up to South Shields. As well as walks along the river which can take you directly into town. Beautiful scenery, nearby parks including Roker and Whitburn to entertain the children. The Stadium of Light is a mere ten minutes walk, very popular for a number of concerts including Beyoncé, Coldplay, Rhianna to name a few as well as the obvious football matches. Along your way there are a range of restaurants to suit your tastes, friendly pubs and cafes, petrol station, supermarkets and the well known Glass Centre next to St Peters church. Very short walk into the City Centre to reach the Sunderland Empire, shopping, restaurants and the Winter Gardens. There are bus stops on the same street taking you into the city centre along the coast. It is a ten minute walk to metro station and there are lots of bike routes clearly marked. Parking is accessible on street for free and the back yard is secure and can be used if needed if I'm not using it. I do have two whippet girls, as whippets are practically the only odourless dogs due to having no undercoat, please be assured my house doesn't smell of dog at all and it is very clean! Please remember to shut your bedroom door if you don't want any long pointy noses popping in to say hello. If you are scared of dogs or allergic please let me know, they don't go in the guest bedroom and the floor is laminated for cleanliness.
