Jack's Cottage cosy Cottage with long garden

Jack's Cottage is small, cosy and welcoming space. It has 2 comfy double bedrooms upstairs, a sitting room, dining area, kitchen and good shower room downstairs. It has been newly refurbished and has a new wood burning stove, TV and wifi. It is good base to explore the surrounding area, or have a quiet few days, walking and enjoying the long garden overlooking fields behind. There are two good pubs within walking distance in the village of Easton on the Hill, both with excellent food. Jack s Cottage is a completely self contained space. It sleeps up to 4 guests and is comfy and welcoming. There are 2 bedrooms, a small well equipped kitchen, sitting room withTV and a new Clearview woodburning stove , dining area and good shower room. There is also a long garden backing onto fields behind, and side access to the rear of the cottage from a track. excellent for dog walking. Guest have access to the complete space the cottage and its garden offer for the duration of their stay. Access is through the cottage front door over the front patio. Also access, through the back door, across the rear of the adjoining cottage from a side farm track. Jack's Cottage is approx 2 miles from the lovely stone town of Stamford. A car is recommended, but it is an easy walk into Stamford, where there is both a bus and rail station. We live locally and are always available to answer guest queries. Easton on the Hill is a pretty small village only 2 miles from the beautiful Georgian stone town of Stamford. The village is surrounded by excellent walks, has a lovely ancient Church and 2 pubs. The Bluebell and the Exeter Arms both serve good food and have lovely bar areas. Collyweston Quarries Nature Reserve, known locally as 'The Deeps' is a designated SSSI, with its entrance, about 100 yards from the Cottage. For nature lovers, these are wildflower rich ancient limestone grasslands and give beautiful walking. Ideally a guest needs a car, but Stamford station is only 2.5 miles distant, and has trains direct into Peterborough - only 12 minutes. From here there is direct access to London, Kings Cross, Cambridge and Stansted airport. The cottage is small, cute and a welcoming (Website hidden by Airbnb) is on the A 43 in Easton on the Hill and can be a little noisy, but it does have double glazing. The location gives direct access to Stamford and the A1, north or south. There are many country walks close by, including an ancient limestone quarry, The Deeps, a designated SSI There are 2 excellent pubs in the village of Easton on the Hill, The Bluebell and the Exeter Arms, both serving good food. The Church is 12th Century, and the ancient Priest's House is 15th Century, both worth a visit. The historic market town of Stamford is nearby, with its 5 Medievil Churches and many ancient buildings for the history enthusiast. It is packed with great bars and restaurants and a wealth of independent shops, for the foody and retail loving guest. Burghley House, the Elizabethan home of the Cecil family is only 3 miles distant. It is one of England ‘s great country houses set in a beautiful park, always open for exercise and walking.
