Narnia

'Narnia' is situated in Thirsk, a traditional North Yorkshire market town and an ideal location for exploring the national parks of the North Yorkshire Moors and Yorkshire Dales. Home to the award winning museum, 'The World of James Herriot, the attractions of York and Harrogate are all within easy access. Thirsk also prides itself in its racecourse where flat racing can be experienced through the summer. Originally a stable, the accommodation has recently been converted to provide a bright, modern holiday home in the centre of town. Narnia has its own private access and the accommodation is spread over two floors. From the hall a staircase leads to an open plan living/dining area, including a fully equipped kitchen. A shower room is located on this floor. The bedroom is accessed via a staircase from the living/dining area. Outside there is a small courtyard with bistro table and chairs. Secure storage is available for bicycles on request at no extra charge. Well-behaved pets welcome on request. In addition to the accommodation described, guests also have access to shared drying facilities. The town is only a short stroll away with a good selection of shops, pubs, restaurants and award winning fish and chips. Walks are available from the door including the historic town trail and Swale Way. Free and ample parking is available nearby.Transport links are good with access to the A1M via the A19 and direct rail links from London.
