The Black House - with garden in a quiet suburb

Welcome to The Black House. A charming wooden house built in 1928 with a terrass towards the south and a spacious garden all around. Balcony facing the north side. One master bedroom and two smaller bedrooms on the second floor. Living room with a real fireplace, lounge room with sofas and an old rocking chair, fully equipped kitchen. 1.5 bathrooms with modern shower and bathtub. The house is my private home which means it's full of personal items but you have plenty of space for storage. Comfortable house, 12 km from Stockholm city in a quiet, safe and peaceful neighborhood. PLEASE NOTE! The whole house is for rent, except the basement and attic. There is a basement apartment is frequently occupied by family and friends, and is closed off from the house by a locked door and its own entrance. This will not disturb guests but please note that you might stumble upon someone in the driveway who are coming or going. Please note that there is no laundry room available, as it is connected to the apartment, not the house. As a house guest you still have full private access to the garden, with the only exception that there might be a relative or friend coming to check on the boats on the backside of the house now and then. The house is yours while you are renting, feel free to contact me or my daughter with any questions or if you need help with anything! The house is located in a quiet suburban area. Some traffic from the highway and railway can be heard but is not a nuisance. Grocery store, pizzeria, thai- and sushi restaurant, gyros, and a lebanese restaurant, all within 8 min walking distance. In the surrounding area there is also: SWIM/TENNIS: You can swim in Edsviken which is a saltwater lake with a nice little beach and tennis courts that can be booked. It takes about 15-20 min to walk there. You are welcome to borrow bikes. ULRIKSDAL PALACE: Along Edsviken is a winding promenade trail that takes you to Ulriksdal Palace and Ulriksdal Palace Garden, a nearby horticulture center. Get inspired by the beautiful environment, shop for fresh flowers and interior design items, and eat at the popular vegetarian restaurant & cafe. Walking there takes about 1 hour from the house. VIEW & SKYBAR: Victoria Tower is a design hotel with a glass facade. It is free to take the elevator up to the sky bar and enjoy the stunning view. This building can be spotted when standing on the house's balcony. A 5-minute walk from Helenelund train station, 8-10 minutes from the house. ART: Edsvik art gallery lies by the north end of lake Edsviken. They exhibit modern art in a historic setting and runs a cafe. Bike or walk by the water, or take the car about 10 minutes. Free parking by the gate is included in the rent of the house. 8 minute walk to the train station Helenelund or bus. A 12-minute ride to Stockholm city/Odenplan. The commuter train also goes to Arlanda Airport, about 30 minutes. Bus 178 from bus stop Anhaltsvägen (2 minutes from the house) goes through Kista business district and to the nearby shopping mall Kista centrum. Taxi Stockholm (area code)8 15 00 00. Costs ca 300 SEK to Stockholm. A cheaper alternative is Bolt or Uber (download the apps) You're required to provide a selfie after you've installed yourself in the house. The house is my full-time home so this is a way for me to know that all is well (plus it has become a nice tradition!) and that you're a serious house guest. Also, as in all Swedish homes you're required to take your shoes off before entering. Welcome!
