Holly Lodge B & B - Georgian House

Holly lodge is a beautiful Georgian country home (circa 1790) set in its own grounds with ample parking. Very close by is Ashdown Forest, Bluebell Railway, Glyndebourne Opera House & several nearby Golf Clubs. Only 30 mins drive to Brighton/the coast & Tunbridge Wells. Only one hour by train to London. Holly Lodge has 3 double bedrooms accommodating up to 6 people. These rooms are rented on a Bed and Breakfast basis and are within a lived in family home. 1 double room has a private bathroom and the other 2 have an ensuite bathroom. The rooms have tea and coffee making facilities and a television. There is free Wifi access. Guests have access to a beautiful country garden and patio and the dining room for breakfast. There are tea and coffee making facilities within the rooms and each have their own basin and the use of a private or ensuite bathroom. The owners Glynne and Gabrielle Pughe-Morgan live on site and are available should you have any enquiries. We will also cook and serve you a full English breakfast every morning of your stay with us. We are very near the Bluebell Railway - Steam Trains (5 mins by car), Beautiful Sheffield Park National Trust Gardens (5 minutes by car). The Ashdown Forest - Pooh Corner, Glyndebourne Opera House, 30 minutes to Brighton and Royal Tunbridge Wells. Several renowned Golf Courses; The Ashdown, Piltdown and Sussex National. We are 15 minutes to Haywards Heath train Station offering direct trains to London (45mins) and Brighton (15mins). Being a rural property you will need a car to get around, although there are buses and of course local taxis. Newick Village has a renowned curry house, 3 Old English Pubs serving food, a bakery, chemist, convenience store and post office, all within a 10 minute walking distance of Holly Lodge B&B. Newick is a 15 minute drive to Haywards Heath Train Station offering direct trains to London (45mins) and Brighton (15mins). Being a rural property you will need a car, although there are buses (not on Sunday's) and of course local taxis. Rooms are available from 12 noon and will need to be vacated at the end of your stay by 11am that morning. We have a Family Room - one double bed and 3 steps down to a twin with an ensuite bathroom - which is great if you come with children. Televisions are in both rented rooms.
