We are located in Hodsoll Street, a pretty little hamlet with a village green surrounded by many country walks, farm shops, pubs, and dairies. The Barn is ideally located for exploring the footpaths, gastronomy, vineyards and country houses of Kent and East Sussex. There is convenient access to railway stations at Borough Green, Meopham, and Ebbsfleet International. The Barn is situated next to a former farm house built in the 1780s. Your hosts are Ian and Jackie. The Barn is a bright, airy, newly-converted, fully-furnished, single-level property. It's snug in winter, with a stable door and casement windows throughout to keep you cool in summer. There are parking spaces for guests, and taxis can be arranged from nearby railway stations (Borough Green, Meopham, Ebbsfleet International). Once here, keen walkers can easily fill a weekend without needing to drive. We live in the main house, and are available if needed The Barn is an ideal spot for those who enjoy walking/rambling, and we are happy to supply an ordinance survey map. Within scenic walking distance, enjoy the award-winning produce of Winterdale Dairy, visit White Finch Bakery (excellent sausage rolls in a farm/orchard setting), or make a reservation at The Plough in nearby Trotterscliffe for delicious community-owned, farm-to-table fare.
