Welcome to Ravensprings a Gorgeous self-catering Mansion House in a central location with easy access and parking. Ideal for large groups & families, (Hens & Stags) for celebrations, holidays & short breaks. Prices are for 20 guests in 8 bedrooms. Huge 34' sitting room. Dining room seating 24. Pool table. Excellent local pubs restaurants. Numerous local sports & activities, Many places of interest to visit. Near Leeds City Centre, the Dales & Moors. 30min from International Airports. Free wifi. Please note pricing is for a minimum of 2 nights @ Weekends and must include Fri & Sat. Mid-week bookings are 4 nights Mon - Fri (less nights = higher price per night). Ravensprings is a Very large, 8 bedroomed Victorian mansion house. The House has a well equipped kitchen range cooker & free-standing gas cooker, full granite worktops. Well equipped for large groups. Frequently used by caterers. Huge sitting room 34' x 16' with open fire, Sky + films and sports and wifi. Dining room with hatch from kitchen and seating for up to 24. 8 Bedrooms 4 en suite, 2 bathrooms & cloakroom. Outside area include patio for barbeques, and garden with different seating areas. Please note I can only accept minimum bookings for a weekend of Friday & Saturday nights (which includes all day Sunday as well as the cleaners don't work on Sundays) and Mid- week stays are Monday - Friday - you can stay less but the price will be the same. Smaller groups can book off peak for less by my closing off bedrooms and should contact me about this. Please note because we are a self-catering property bed-linen is included but towels are an optional extra cost and we only provide one toilet roll per loo (6 in total) Guests hire the entire property (excluding the cellars & garage). I can shut off 2 bedrooms during the low season or for mid week stays. which makes the house more affordable for smaller groups. On arrival if the Housekeeper; Caroline Haley has left she will either text or phone to ensure that everything is okay. The house is private and there will be no intrusion. If guests have any queries during their stay, they simply have to phone Caroline or me for assistance. Ravensprings is delightful, Victorian corner house situtated in a very quiet residential road. Brighouse is a quaint industrial town and Ravensprings is located high up in the Lightcliffe area with panoramic views of the town from the top front and town and countryside views from the rear. There is unique panelling from the grand ocean liner The Mauretania in the spacious sitting room. Diagonally opposite is Ravensprings Park, a model railway (with working train) this was donated to Ravensprings Model Railway Club by a previous owner who was a great enthusiast. Every 4th weekend the club opens it's doors to visitors and to give children's rides. Please note pricing is for a minimum 2 night booking for weekends & must include Fri & Sat, and minimum 4 nights Mid-week Mon-Fri. Less nights will be more per night. The location is ideal for touring get togethers for groups coming from North South, East or West or indeed from abroad. The M62 is just 2 miles from the House this links with the M1 in 12 minutes or the M6 / M56 in 20 minutes. Ravensprings is 30 / 45 mins respectively from Leeds Bradford International Airport or Manchester Airport. Ideal for touring the three counties of Yorkshire, Lancashire or Derbyshire. Brighouse Railway Station (direct line from London) is a mile from the House and there are buses that stop at the end of the road some 300m away. Cabs are cheap and readily available. As you can imagine running Ravensprings is very expensive and you do get the whole House when you book. Please note the cleaning price is almost treble what is actually charged.
