Ancient sheepfold, renovated with high quality and traditional materials, nested in a magnificent 1.5 ha private park, in the heart of the Landes forest, with multi-century old oak trees, 20km away from the local sand beaches (Contis and Lespecier). This rustic but comfortable 130 m2 single-storey house is the perfect place to spend holidays in the nature, and enjoy local activities : surfing, sand beaches, cycling, etc. The closest neigbour is 400 meters away, the second closest one is 1.5 km away. The owners live in the main house of the property, which is wide enough to ensure total privacy for the tenants. Owners’s discretion guaranted. The house / sheepfold has been kept in its former style typical of the region, with oak beams and pine wood sidings. The 60 square meter, 6 meter high ceiling living/dining room opens to south-facing porch/terrace through a large French windows. It is devided into three parts (living room, dining room, television/bookcase). A sofa bed (140) is available. 3 bed-rooms, kitchen and bathroom/toilets. Two bedrooms have each a double bed (160) easily convertible into two twin beds (80 cm). The third one, which in the old days used to be a stable, with its feed rack, has a double bed (140 cm). In the bathroom, you will find a washbasin, a tub, a shower, and a toilet (a hairdryer and an iron are also at your disposal). The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas cooker, electric oven, dishwasher, washing machine, refrigerator-freezer, microwave oven, coffee machine, etc. The enclosed swimming pool (5x11m) is close to wooden uninhabited barn. The pool is surrounded by a local wood pine tree terrace. It is under alarm. The pool is for the exclusive use of the tenants and is maintained by the owners. Wifi is available in the house/sheepfold and the swimming pool area. Sandpit for children, table tennis table, pétanque balls, mölkky, badminton, darts, etc.. Also to be found in the park : gas plancha barbecue, 2 wooden tables with integrated benches, under acacia trees. Cast-iron wood stove, Television with French channels. Pets are not accepted. The owners have a German Wirehaired pointer female dog who is very playful and sociable, and 4 hens. Access to the house from D 38 (Onesse-Laharie – Mimizan) is by a bumpy sand path (1,4 km) typical od the region. Several car parking spaces.
