"Wow what amazing place to stay with amazing hosts. Really wish we could have stayed longer. The room was impeccable and so stylish and quaint. The property was immaculate and every little thoughtful gesture was appreciated. Hosts were lovely and assisted us in so many ways and just went above and beyond. Fell in love with the puppies and bedrooms and had the best Airbnb stay I have ever had - and there has been quite a few. Thanks again for the absolutely faultless stay " ~ Renee Our home is situated in a quiet road 15 minute walk to the train station with direct lines into London and a 10 minute drive to Southend Airport. Leigh town is just a 10 minute walk away with plenty of good restaurants and interesting shops. Another 5 minutes walk and you can be in Old Leigh, a lovely little fishing village with Pubs, cockle sheds and a beach. We're a 5 min walk to a Country Park which has a golf course surrounded by woods, horseriding, bowling, and a good restaurant. We have a lovely guestroom available, not huge but it fits a double bed, a dresser and a chair It has an en suite wet room with underfloor heating, a toilet and basin. Tea and coffee making facilities are available to you. You are welcome to relax in our cosy snug . This room has a TV , comfy suite and a log burning fire. Please note, we do not have locks on any of the bedroom doors. I work from home so am here most of the time so will always be available to give advice. I've lived in Leigh On Sea most of my life so know the area well. I'm more than happy to give you my mobile number in case you have a query while you're out and about. Although we live in a nice peaceful road, everything you need is within walking distance. There is a Waitrose and a Sainbury's 5 minutes walk away. There are several really good restaurants within walking distance . Fortune Garden for Chinese and La Cassatta for Italian are my favourites. The Oakleigh is our nearest bar/restaurant with an American menu and is a 10 minute walk away. Mad Dogs And Englishmen serves delicious afternoon teas in a beautiful setting and is just around the corner. Leigh Town has countless good bars and restaurants . There is a bus stop at the top of the road to take you into Southend, and Leigh Station is 20 minutes walk away with direct lines into London. Southend Airport is a 10 minute drive (approx £10 in a taxi). If you're coming by car there is unrestricted parking in the road so you should be able to park very close to the house. We have 2 very well behaved, small, non moulting dog's. They have the run of the house and garden and occasionally find their way upstairs so please keep your bedroom door closed when you leave your room just in case. If you are not keen on dog's or have an allergy my home is probably not going to be suitable for you.
