Victorian period house next to Mowbray park and within walking distance of main rail/ bus / metro stations. Great base for the North East for families. Free wifi , sky, xbox for business travellers. All kitchen mod cons and washing machine dryer. Secure parking for two cars off road. Big rooms and plenty of space to enjoy. Nice evening by the fire. 2 mins to city centre, 10 mins to Stadium of light. Durham/ Newcastle 30 mins away for shopping & sightseeing. Lovely big rooms with Victorian high ceilings. 1 min walk to magnificent Mowbray Park. Lovely gardens, play-park and bands in the Summer. Pop into the Winter Gardens or have a coffee at Homeside Coffee who also do a good breakfast. Easy access to all shopping and bars, restaurants in the city or 2 mins walk to Metro for the heart of Newcastle. You can leave the car in the secure parking and use public transport to get around, we like to enjoy a drink when shopping and relax. If you would rather drive the house is straight onto the A roads to explore the NE. Durham, Newcastle all 25 mins away. 5 mins drive to the wonderful beach at Seaburn or 10 mins to Seaham. If you are looking further afield you can get to Edinburgh in a couple of hours by train or car. 1 hour to Northumberland and Hadrian’s Wall or 1 hr 30 mins south to Whitby and York. If you are up for the Football its a 10 min walk to the game or for any Bands at the Stadium of light. Cinemas and theatre are about 6 mins walk. A great base to enjoy the NE then come back to the house and relax. Corner shop at the top of the street has most things or its a walk to town shops ( 2 min) or a short drive to the Supermarkets. If you don’t fancy eating in town we have two great Indian restaurants around the corner. We have a travel cot, stair gate and baby seat for little ones to eat so you don’t have to fill your car with lots of baby things. There is a big playground in the park for the little ones and up-to 12 year olds. In town there is bowling and cinema for the older ones. Further afield you have the Olympic swimming pool, tennis centre and ski slope in the city. You have access to most gym companies in the city also. For business travellers we have free wifi, sky to relax in the evening. The kitchen has all mod cons and washing and dryer facilities in the utility room. Parking is secure and a good size. The street is quiet for a good nights sleep. For big kids there is an xbox with two controllers to enjoy. Available by text or phone. Modern wifi doorbell if any access issues you can speak with us. Walking distance to main bus station/ metro and rail so you dont have to drive everywhere. If you do its 1 min to access main A roads into and out of the city.
