Ty Cerrig is a great base for walking or cycling or for touring North Wales, Cheshire or even across to Liverpool or Manchester. Note: One well-behaved dog welcome. Nearby is the busy market town of Mold which offers a good variety of shops, pubs and restaurants whilst slightly further afield is the Jacobean Nercwys Hall which was built in 1638 and boasts a display of over 20,000 articles known as the Gathering of Jewels.
