The Millers'd Daughter

The Miller's Daughter has its own garden beside Molenplein with direct views of the highest Mill the Wilhelmina, it is on the edge of the reserve "The Koningslaagte"in a rural setting, yet close to the city 15 minutes from the heart of the center Miller's Daughter is located next to the Wilhelmina Mill the highest Mill in Groningen. The mobil home is non-smoking and has two double beds (180 x 200 and 140 x 165 cm for one or two children!) not suitable for 4 adults. Tea (varaity of free organic teas) and coffee (free) making facilities, refrigerator and supplies to make your own breakfast or lunch (No cooking facilities) and a seating area. There is a porch on the trailer from which you can step into your own garden. There is a firepit/ fireplace where you can make a BBQ at Night. The place is well insulated and there is an electric heater. For savety we have placed a smoke detector. At night you can use the pee toilet. You can use free Wi-Fi and a docking station for your i-Phone i-Pod or i-Pad. The private bathroom is next to the location and accessible via a private entrance in the farm. Towels and showergel are included. You can park your car free next to the location. 2 bikes are available for our guests. The Mill is open on friday and saturday from 10.00 till 17.00 hours. There is a Nice shop inside where you can buy al kinds of baking products, I can arrange a tour from the Miller himself. Please note that if you arrive we live in the farm at nr.2 nearby the Mill. Doorbel is next to the door with nr.2 in the window. We live in the farm and are Always willing to give you tips and help you during your stay. The garden next to your location is yours so feel free to relax there, sit in the grass, lie in the sun or make a BBQ. We do not use this garden we have our own garden on the other Side of the farm. There are 2 basic bikes available. There are many cycling routes and the nearby bezoekerscentrum "De Buitenplaats" is a route to reach through the pastures. This route starts in the pasture near the farm. A small playground is available next to our farm (50 meter). We have two bicycles available for our guests. There is a very extensive bicycle card available and there is a lot of tourist information About the city and the area available. At 5 minutes walking distance is the busstop where the bus takes you to the haven directly to the boat to go to the Island Schiermonnikoog. We are Always willing to give you tips About your stay in Groningen. The Miller's Daughter is close to town, the distance to the edge of the center is about 8 minutes by bike, within 15 minutes you are on the Grote Markt. Festival Noorderzon at the citypark Noorderplantsoen are within 10 minutes away. The bus stop is a 3-minute walk away. You can drive for 5 minutes to Kardinge busstation and park your car for free, from there you can take a bus (everything 10 minutes) straight to the center. A retour ticket for max. 5 persons is under 5 euro. Zernike, The ICE, Swimming and Sportcenter Kardinge is within 5 minutes by car. 10 minutes by bicycle. There are all kinds of in- and outdoor sports available Here.
