Cosy Barn with a Vineyard View

Nestled in open countryside next to our vineyard on the outskirts of Bishop's Stortford, an ideal base to explore East Herts & North Essex or visit London & Cambridge. The Cowshed is a recently converted barn sleeping 5, complete with fully equipped kitchen, dining area and comfy seating around a woodburner. Egyptian cotton linen and black out blinds in all bedrooms. Outdoors enjoy the wood burning hot tub, feed the chickens, take a stroll round our lake or discover the zip wire in the wood! Fresh eggs are available from the kitchen garden located at the end of the 2 acre orchard that backs onto the property. Nestled in the woods you'll discover the zip wire and play area with plenty of trees for den building! Entire space. There are 3 bedrooms, 1 single bedroom downstairs, along with a twin room (2 single beds) and master room with king-size bed upstairs. We live in a cottage on the property and are always available to answer queries or assist. If you would like anything arranged for your arrival, please just let us know. We are located on a working farm which also hosts several small local businesses including a gym, Pilates studio, beauty salon, cafe serving superb afternoon teas and Xupes pre-owned luxury brands. It's a great place to retreat to and explore on foot or cycle. There are many wonderful places to eat and drink at and interesting places to visit. Please ask for details and recommendations. There is no public transport directly to the property although there is a bus stop 20 minutes walk away. We are just a short drive to Bishop's Stortford train station and 10 minutes from Stansted Airport, there are plenty of local taxi companies - please ask for recommendations. We are just 45 minutes drive to Cambridge, the Essex coast and London all in different directions. We have a minuimum 4 night stay during the week, with a check-in on Monday. Weekend check-in is on Friday with a minimum 3 night stay. Please note that the hot tub is a wood burning hot tub it is chemical free and filled with fresh water each use. You will need to light the fire and tend to it (adding logs regularly) it will take upwards of 3.5 hours to get hot. We provide logs for your stay, instructions and will be on hand to offer guidance. The hot tub will comfortably fit 5 adults. Whilst we don't have an EV charger there are several outdoor plug sockets to charge your car at.
