'The Little House' is a unique and stylish 'upside down' house. It is located in the heart of the Glem Valley with stunning year round, panoramic views. Downstairs are two very spacious double bedrooms together with a modern bathroom. In the large loft is a fully-equipped kitchen, living and dining space with quality modern fixtures and fittings and a feature wood burner. A small balcony area allows guests to take in the vista. With a tv and record player, this space is a real treat. The driveway suitable for up to four vehicles. The Little House also has a private ground floor patio with picnic table suitable for outside dining. With various lighting options, weather-permitting this can be used day and night. It's accessed via a patio door in Bedroom 1 and a garden gate which opens directly on to the paddock. Although this paddock may very occasionally be used by the hosts, it is freely available for guests to use at their leisure. It also has a gateway which opens on to the public footpaths and various Glem Valley walks. The Little House is situated behind our farmhouse yet feels very private. We like to think that your privacy is paramount but we are right here as and when you need us! The Little House is situated on the outskirts of the village of Glemsford which allows us many un-interrupted views and plenty of peace and quiet. However, we have local shops and pubs and takeaway options just a short walk away. Just a 5 minute drive away, at the opposite end of the village, we have a glorious farm shop (Willow Tree Farm) and recently opened cafe and restaurant. We have bus service that runs from the village (the bus stop is a 15 minute walk). Destinations include Bury St Edmunds (an easy 20 minute drive away if you prefer), Clare, Long Melford and Sudbury. The are also plenty of enjoyable bicycle routes and many great country pubs within a 10 minute drive in every direction.
