Country home in beautiful village

Two apartments in one independent building with a large garden and streams at the front and at the bottom. A covered outdoor space with a farmhouse table will enable you to enjoy a barbecue even during a thunderstorm (we have!) Just five minutes walk from historic and beautiful Le Bec Hellouin with it’s ancient Abbey and choice of restaurants, gallery and souvenir shops. Only fifteen minutes on foot to the world renowned Ferme du Bec (Centre for Permaculture) You will be able to use the garden, sit in a secluded space at the bottom stream and also use the washing machine and tumble dryer at our main residence across the grounds We may be on site and can always be contacted if you need anything but will otherwise leave you to enjoy your stay Le Bec Hellouin is classified among The Most Beautiful Villages of France. It is connected via a 42km cycle route to Évreux via Le Neubourg The nearest station with a direct link to a Paris is Bernay (30 minutes by car). Europcar has a base near Bernay station. Alternatively, Évreux is 55 minutes away (but a shorter train ride from Paris) and car hire is also possible there Le Bec Hellouin is on a bus route from Évreux to Honfleur Getting to visit the many interesting sites in the area means a car is really essential although some guests choose to cycle We can offer all meals, including picnics, by arrangement There is an excellent WiFi and the large screen TV has a Chromecast box so you can connect your mobile technology Both apartments have DVD players and independent kitchen facilities
