A quiet residential area, perfect for relaxing, enjoying peace and quiet and a brilliant place to rest in between adventurous trips to numerous picturesque places in the immediate surroundings. The River of Zrmanja offers a great range of water sports such as kayaking and rafting, kayak safari, stand up paddling, caving, biking tours and horseback riding. There are canyon sightseeing cruises, boat trips to waterfalls and road trips to the Mount Velebit and even jeep safari. Obrovac is a perfect place to choose if you want to explore intact nature of three national parks that are within a 100 kilometer range - The Plitvice Lakes, Krka National Park and Sjeverni Velebit. Within the same distance are many interesting cultural and historical places such as Zadar (45 km), Biograd (60km), Sibenik (85 km) and Knin (80 km). There is plenty of free parking space in the street, but being a remote little town, getting here might be a bit of a challenge to someone using public transport.
