The Black Cottage with Orangery. Summer 1/4-31/10

The Black Cottage and orangery are parts of the historical place called Skippergaarden (Skipper´s Residence) Fabersvej 2c, in the old Gilleleje. The orangery is from (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) We have wi-fi and parking available. The Black Cottage is a small charming house of 24 m2 with thatched roof. The cottage contains a double room with bath, open attic (incl one additional bed), tv and a mini kitchenette with toaster, electrical kettle and tableware. Next door is the orangery of 17 m2 containing kitchen facilities with fridge, 2 hotplates, combi oven, tv and dining for 4-6. The buildings are located in a protected idyllic court yard with outdoor dining for 4-6 and access to 2 Weber grill. For you who love to cook yourselves. From Skippergaarden´s parking there is access to our idyllic court yard, where The Black Cottage and orangery are located with own outdoor space and access to grill. We are located in the old historical part of Gilleleje with ocean view and view to Sweden and the lighthouse at Kullen. Across the road we are neighbors to the east pier with drying ground area, marina, bathing pier and the east beach. The public beach with life guard on duty during the school summer holiday, Strandbakkerne, is in direct extension of the east beach. The west pier surrounds the industrial harbour, a well functioned fishing harbour with shipyard and machinery industry. There are 3 fishshops at the harbour and a number of restaurants. We have our own parking and are in walking distance to the whole town (including 5 super markets). You can go on beautiful hikes along the coast; to the west along Gilbjergstien to the Søren Kirkegaard monument and to the east along Fyrstien to Nakkehoved lighthouse. The train station Gilleleje Ø is the closest 300 m away, and busses run from Gilleleje station 700 m away. Fly fishing is very popular along the coast, especially to the west of Gilleleje. We have a nice and happy dog, Sille, a wire-haired pointer. See picture. This is why we have decided only to welcome children over 8 of ages. We wish everybody to be happy during your stay.
