The former manor house has been renovated to the highest standard and beautifully furnished in a contemporary style. At the heart of the house is a large open living room divided by arches, with seating area, fireplace, library, dining area and well equipped kitchen. Two of the bedrooms are on the ground floor: each has an en-suite bathroom and direct access to the garden. On the first floor there is a bright sitting room with TV-SAT of which guest can access the further four bedrooms complemented by an en-suite bathroom each. There are endless places to sit, lounge or dine. In front of the house you can dine on the shady terrace with barbecue. By the pool area there are further terraces at the disposal of the guests plus there is a pool house with shower and toilet. Wherever you are on the stunning property you can enjoy truly exceptional views. The property is equally ideal for those wishing to explore the Italian countryside. There are various beautiful towns that are worth a visit including: old town of Cortona (25 km) , Montepulciano (25 km), the famous Renaissance town of Pienza (32 km), and of course Siena, with its wonderful square Piazza del Campo at 40 km. The slightly hilly Chiana valley with its many small paths and streets is ideal for biking - a bike path leads along the central Canale Maestro across the valley. Lago Trasimeno is about 30 km from here with its child-friendly sandy beaches and small islands. Bicycles can be rented on site; Cooking classes and cooking service on request.
