Comfortable double room on working farm

Situated on a working beef and arable farm in Weston Turville, our house is ideally situated for the best of both worlds - we're surrounded by fields, with the Ridgeway, Wendover Woods, the Grand Union Canal and Weston Turville reservoir easily accessible for those wanting to explore the countryside, but with the village shop and several pubs only a short walk away. Nearby Wendover can be reached on foot/by bike and has good train links to London and some wonderful independent shops. We're lucky enough to have an aga in the kitchen and a wood burning stove in the living room, so in the winter it's a cosy retreat after a day out in the elements. In the summer, the bedroom windows look out over cattle and horses grazing in the surrounding fields, and house martins flit around the eaves of the house while chickens scuffle among the flowerbeds, making it feel truly idyllic. If you'd like breakfast, as well as a variety of cereals, we can offer farm fresh eggs, homemade bread, and several homemade jams, marmalade and honey from the farm's resident bees! Farm tours are available by separate arrangement, let us know if you're interested! We are around most of the time as we will be working on the farm, and are happy with as much or as little interaction as guests require. We also have two dogs, one little, one large, which are both very friendly and love a fuss. However, they do not go upstairs and will happily stay in the utility room if you would prefer not to interact with them - just let us know!
