In our beautiful Cotswold garden, wind up through the rockery to this sheltered hillside spot, with its very own private deck and seating area, offering gorgeous views to the surrounding village, nestled in idyllic countryside. This light and airy, but warm and cosy studio has a super comfortable kingsize bed, a desk and a separate stylish modern bathroom, a lovely deep bath, and a very efficient shower attachment if needed. You will be living under the eaves, so headspace is a little limited. You are welcome to potter about our large garden. Garden, Private deck, We are a family of 5, with a small sausage dog and three cats. There is nearly always someone at home, so feel free to ask us for any help or information. We are just 2 minutes walk from the Seven Tuns Pub, which is a quintessential Cotswold country pub, with good food and roaring log fires - this is a great place to while away an afternoon or have an evening out without any need to drive. We are situated in the most beautiful countryside with miles of footpaths. We have a beautiful church and a Roman villa in the village and a farm shop that serves an all day ‘bottomless’ breakfast. Nearby Cirencester has great independent shops and a Waitrose. Also highly recommended for food is The Stump at nearby Foss Cross and The New Inn at Coln St Aldwyns. There is also a village taxi service, if you need a lift home. Needless to say, we are right on the doorstep of all the well known cotswold villages and beauty spots, so this is an excellent location from which to tour around. It is definitely best to have a car or bike if you book our place, just because there are so many beautiful lanes and villages that are not really accessible by public transport. There is usually one bus a day in and out of the village, at least on weekdays. Most people who come without transport find that they still have plenty to do with rambling around the village and its footpaths and relaxing in their room or on the deck, or in our village pub which is right on our doorstep. We provide tea and cafetière coffee facilities, and there are wine/champagne glasses and a corkscrew. You can chill drinks and milk in our bottle carrier that hangs in the little stream that runs through the garden.
