Bright country Bedrooms in a lovely bright house set in a semi rural quiet community with easy central access of apprx. 10mins scenic drive to Durham university, 15 mins to Durham uni. Hospital, Cathedral, Castle, Heritage Coast, Castle Dene Nature Reserve, Wingate Quarry and to many Durham Tourist attractions. The house can comfortably sleep 4, there is enough beds to sleep 6 (A super king bed with SilentNight mattress for a superb night sleep, 2 single beds & a double sofa bed in living room) Before you book your reservation please ensure that as guest you fall into any of the categories below set out by our local government: -are unable to return to main residence -for while moving house, attending a funeral, long stay or to self-isolate -for the purposes of work, education, elite athletes, their parent, coach, training or competition -visiting from abroad on holiday or work purposes The space is on a hill so it is bright and in a good location close to a local Co-Op shop and one can be sure to enjoy a beautiful scenic drive all around. Indeed a beautiful welcoming warm home. Our guests have access to the garden and there is ample of space for parking. The house is very clean with sparkling white beddings & fluffy towels. There is facilities to prepare and enjoy light meals. Our guests have access to the entire space. There is internet, cooker, microwave, washing machine, fridge, kettle, toaster, iron, hairdryer and loads to do in Durham for entertainments. Please note that for security reasons as this is a holiday home, and it also helps us to keep the tariff low for our guests, so there is no TV on the premises. We strive to ensure a pleasant stay experience for all our guests, so please don’t give us a low rating based on not having a TV on the premises. This house is set in a semi rural neighbourhood, so it is quiet and friendly. The neighbourhood is also set on a hill making the house bright, airy and very pleasant. There is a co-operation shop about 3min down the road from the house. You turn right on Luke Terrace and it’s on the left before the junction. You can also reach or text us if you need any or further assistance during your stay. You can get around here by bus or by car. It takes 10minutes by car to a Durham university campus, 12minutes by car to Durham city Centre. There is a bus that goes into Durham city Centre every hour. Bus 22 from a parallel street takes 26min. The university and the hospital have a low tariff parking spaces. There is also lots of pay and display parking spaces in the city centre. Though you may want to avoid school run rush hours. This is a quiet and respected neighbourhood, so we would appreciate our guest to treat it the same. Local shops such as co-op and post office are within walking distance.
