Hill Top View, Strete

Hill Top View is a very spacious, detached bungalow in the coastal village of Strete, Devon midway between Blackpool Sands and Slapton Sands, within walking distance of village amenities and only a 5 minute drive to either beach or a 10 minute drive to the town of Dartmouth. Hill Top View offers sea views and a private patio garden as well as accommodation all on one level. Accommodation: The front door is reached by five steps and opens into the entrance hall. The lounge/dining room has oak flooring and is a comfortable and spacious for six guests. There are sea views from the lounge and dining room with patio doors leading from the lounge onto a balcony, television with freeview, DVD and coal effect electric fire plus dining table and chairs. The large pine fitted kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave, fridge and dishwasher with a hatch through to the dining room. The three bedrooms all have pine furniture, one with a kingsize double bed and patio doors leading to the back garden, sea views and television, a second double bedroom and a twin bedroom. The fully tiled family bathroom has a bath with shower over, a large shower cubicle, toilet and twin hand basins. High chair available Exterior: From the kitchen a few steps lead down into the back garden which is enclosed private area and offers a good space with table, chairs and barbeque – a perfect area for enjoying al fresco meals. Steps lead down to the garage which has a utility room with washing machine/tumble dryer and freezer and toilet. There is parking on the driveway and plenty of on road parking. Hill Top View will accept dogs and Strete playing fields are a short walk from the property and the Strete Gate end of Slapton Sands is also dog friendly. Please enquire for reduced rates for one couple outside of school holidays. Nearby: The village shop and restaurant are a 5 minute walk from Hill Top View. The Laughing Monk is well known locally for great food, The village pub the Kings Arms has recently reopened. There are additional pubs and restaurants in the nearby villages of Torcross, Stoke Fleming and Slapton. The beaches Blackpool Sands and Slapton Sands are 2 minutes away in the car. Availability: In the peak season, May, June, July and August we need to keep to Friday changeovers and a minimum stay of 7 nights. However, please do contact me with any requests you may have and we will accommodate if possible. Out of peak season we don't need to keep to a Friday changeover.
