Adjust your outlook in this 650 square foot cottage. Located on 10 acres, I live in a separate house on the property, but we can't see each other. Tranquil Perspective cottage has been competely renovated, and is cozy and quiet. The view is of the mountain across the street. Hike Hibriten Mountain, 7 miles away, bike at the greenway, or explore the charming town of Lenoir. 18 miles from Blowing Rock, 21 miles from Boone, and Appalachian State University and 16 miles from Hickory. This completely renovated space has the original, huge windows and allows plenty of natural light. The kitchenette has a sink, undercounter refrigerator, microwave, full set of dishes, coffee maker with coffee and filters, and a blender. I will supply breakfast bars and snack items for my guests. The living area has a twin daybed and a twin mattress is available upon requst for the floor. There is a smart TVs in the living room. The queen size bed in the bedroom is comfortable. There are dressers in the bedroom and livingroom, as well as a closet with hanging space. I am available by text or cell and will be happy to help anyway I can. I also respect your privacy, so interaction will be minimal, unless you want more. I am a Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist, NC #15971 and have limited availability if you'd like to book a massage during your stay. The massage will take place in the cottage and requires set up and clean up time. Please message me for pricing and availability. I am happy to help make your stay special and, for a small fee, can set up the house prior to arrival for a special occasion. For example, have a bottle of wine chilling, fruit and cheese platter, bucket of beer or something you come up with. I will need 2 days notice for these types of services. Message me for pricing. The neighborhood is quiet and there are plenty of opportunities to walk and see horses, goats and other animals. I don't have any farm animals on my property, but you may see some deer and lots of colorful birds. A car is necessary in Lenoir. My dogs never run free, however, sometimes the neighborhood dogs like to visit. None of the dogs are harmful and a firm "Go home" will work. If you have any issues with animals, please don't hesitate to let me know so I can make sure you are not bothered.
