Hand built cabin overlooking a pond

Beautiful hand built cabin, overlooking Cotton Pond. Ten minutes from Camden, the sailing mecca of the east coast. Solar lights, (we are off the grid) gravity fed kitchen water, gas-hot water outdoor shower, outhouse overlooking the forest. Hiking trails everywhere! Swimming across the road on Hobbs Pond. If you book in November, there is a possibility that if it gets cold, you will not have a hot outdoor shower and will use water from a 5 gallon ceramic container for drinking and cooking. Our cabin is placed overlooking a pond, the setting is beautiful, peaceful, and private. The way the cabin is set up, helps you reconnect with a simpler way of life. (Our cabin is not set up to charge electronic devices.) There are hikes out the back door of the cabin and 2 ponds to swim in within walking distance. Camden is the closest town for shopping, dining and sailing. We will meet you upon arrival, show you around the property and then the space is yours. If you need assistance of any kind we are close by. We love the natural setting, the peace and quiet and the wildlife. We own property across the dirt road, on Hobbs pond, that has kayaks, a canoe and is a beautiful swimming pond. You'll need a car or bicycle to get into town. There is a fire-pit out front of the cabin. We prefer not to have dogs due to wooden floors, screens and the sanctuary space we have tried to create.
