Double Room with shared bath at the Golden Circle

Heradsskolinn is located in the heart of the Golden Circle, the most popular travel destination for tourists in Iceland. We offer accommodation, cafe/bar/bistro, tourist information and travel booking services in south Iceland. The house was originally built in 1928 as a school and has been a foundation of education and culture ever since until it closed in 1995. We are pleased to announce its reopening after going through extensive renovation but with the original design still intact. Free WiFi, showers and bathrooms, TV-room, musical instruments, library and a chill out lounge. We do have a kitchenette on site for our guests to use between 8am and 10pm. Please note that the kitchenette is not a fully equipped kitchen. We do have an electric kettle, microwave and an oven (no stove). You will receive a beautiful room with double bed. We are located in one of Iceland's most historical buildings. There is a good spirit in the building and the area, and we want to share it with the rest of the world.
