Apartment within 17th century manor house

We offer a self-contained loft apartment within our 17th century Grade II* home. Fully equipped kitchen with tea, coffee, milk & sugar. 55" TV (with Netflix). Kingsize bed with crisp white linen. The apartment has its own entrance and use of a shared courtyard to the rear. Parking for up to two cars. Please note there are four flights of stairs up to the loft apartment and low doorways in our 300+ year old home. Secure space to keep two (clean) bikes inside the entrance. Dogs welcome! The apartment once housed the servants who kept the manor house running like clockwork, today it is a comfortable space for guests to stay while they visit the area! You will have the apartment all to yourself, with wardrobe space available to you to use. Our family (and dog) live in the main house so we are close by if there are any issues, but otherwise we will leave you in peace to enjoy your stay. We are in rural Cheshire just on the edge of the Peak District with walks/runs/bike rides available in every direction from our front door! We are in a very rural spot, situated next to a working farm (sheep and cattle) but we're just 2.5 miles by road to Marple Bridge with its shops, pubs and restaurants. The nearest train stations are Marple (2.5 miles) or New Mills Central (3.6 miles). There is an (infrequent) bus service (No. 375) in the local area.
