Beautiful old cottage in the heart of Eynsham.

Thank you for your interest in my home. I live in a beautiful cottage which is located down a quiet street centrally in the quaint village of Eynsham. We're close to shops, pubs & restaurants. This in an ideal location being on the edge of the Cotswolds so if you enjoy outside space, there are many beautiful walks nearby. Bicester Village & historic places like Blenheim Palace are also easily accessible. Eynsham is the ideal place to stay for work or pleasure. I live in a beautiful old 3 bedroom cottage dating back to the 16th century. My guest bedroom, a good size double, is cosy, comfortable, quaint and spotlessly clean. There is hanging space in the wardrobe, a bedside table, tea and coffee making tray and TV. The shared bathroom is big with a large walk-in shower and is just across the small landing. ** Due to the coronavirus pandemic, I am cleaning even more deeply after each guest, following Airbnb's enhanced cleaning protocol. I also provide anti bacterial spray, wipes and hand gel for guest use. Eynsham is a lovely quiet village despite boasting about 8 pubs! If you are looking to enjoy the countryside, there are lots of walks both from my front door, including the river Thames, as well as nearby by car. Being on the edge of the Cotswolds, the scenery is breathtaking. I am listed to accept pets and as long as your doggie is very well behaved and friendly, I'm sure it will be fine but please check with me before booking. **Please note however that I do not allow pets to be left alone during the stay. Thank you in advance** If you are travelling with friends or family and would like to stay together, check out my other room under a separate listing Guests are welcome to use the dining room, bathroom and garden. Sorry but cooking is not permitted with exception to using the microwave or oven to heat food. All food must be consumed in the dining room please. I will be available most of the time during your stay to help with any queries. I work long hours at times and therefore a key lock box will be available if you arrive when I'm at work. Eynsham is a lovely old village situated halfway between Oxford and Witney and on the edge of the Cotswolds. Also being just off the A40 Eynsham is ideally placed for anyone visiting friends/family in the surrounding area or needing to commute for work whether it's to Oxford, Witney, Abingdon or other places. Please check with me before booking if you're unsure of my location and I'll be happy to advise. 😊 My cottage is situated at the end of a no through road yet is central to all the amenities Eynsham has to offer. The neighbourhood is friendly and the street very quiet. The bus stop is less than a 2 minute walk and there are 2 railway stations close by, the nearest a 10 minute drive. There are lots of walking and cycling opportunities from the door and many more a short distance by car. You can be rest assured of a peaceful and happy stay at Beech Cottage There are 2 bus stops within a 2 minute walk and railway stations also close to hand giving easy access to Oxford City, Witney and beyond. If you're a keen cyclist visiting for work, there are cycling tracks to both Oxford and Witney. I live here with my lovely little Cavapoo, Bobby. He is exceptionally well behaved and friendly and he doesn't moult. He loves other dogs and always wants to play. We are friendly, welcoming and accommodating and guarantee you will have a lovely, relaxing and comfortable stay at Beech Cottage.
