Beautiful, 6 bed, family friendly barn with grounds & gardens that look onto beautiful open fields. Relax & take in the surroundings from a Scandinavian hot tub and enjoy the child friendly gardens, toys and flower meadows. Inside a large vaulted living room with log burner, fully equipped kitchen with AGA & dining area. 3 en-suite bedrooms, 3 further bedrooms and 2 further bathrooms. A further Snug/TV room. Fantastic views over the Chilterns & lovely walks and pubs on the doorstep The whole house and garden are yours to enjoy. The barn sits down a gravel drive in a development of three barn conversions all recently renovated and set well apart in their own grounds. The garden is fenced and gated so it is safe for children. It opens onto open fields and there are footpaths straight from the house that lead directly to a farm shop & cafe that serves award winning breakfasts only a 10 minute walk away. There are 5 double bedrooms and one bedroom with two singles. The house is designed for 12 people but there is also a second double in one of the large rooms which would be ideal for children and we have travel cots and high chairs etc for young children if needed. There are lots of lovely walks and open fields straight from the house and a safe secure garden. Thank you, Annie Guests have sole access to the house and surrounding gardens. The owners live on another property on the site that is set a good distance away in its own grounds so you can have full peace and quiet and enjoy the garden for bbq’s but we are on hand should you need anything. Please note large parties and events such as hen and stags do’s are not allowed. The house is totally yours to enjoy but we live nearby and will be on hand should you need anything. Owlswick Barn is in the tiny hamlet of Owlswick near the beautiful market towns of Princes Risborough and Thame. It is on the edge of the Chilterns AONB and surrounded by amazing walks and cycle routes including the famous Pheonix Trail and Ridgeway. There are lots of beautiful walks, pubs and cycle routes on the doorstep and a number of Michelin starred restaurants within the vicinity. There is also a lovely farm shop with cafe, animals and a childrens play area just a 10 minute walk across the fields from the house. Ideal to pick up all the essentials you need with lovely fresh veg, a butchers and a delicious tea rooms. The barn is only a 32 minute train journey from Marylebone or an hours drive to West London. The Chilterns AONB is one of the most stunning areas of the UK. With beautiful rolling hills, streams and quintessential english villages. You are 30 minutes from Henley on Thames and Oxford and only a 40 minute train ride from Central London. Multiple National Trust houses, parks, and family attractions are within 30 minutes away. Including Go Ape, Waddesdon Manor, The Gruffalo Trail, Roald Dahl Museum, The Natural History Museum at Tring, Hughenden Hall, the steam railway at Princes Risborough, Whipsnade Zoo, Woburn Safari Park, Odds Farm Park, The Ecodragon Centre, Beconsfield Model Village, Wycombe Lido, multiple golf courses and riding centres......and there is also the lovely Hartwell House health spa only 10 minutes away ideal for a girls day out and Champneys 30 minutes away. Please note parties and events are not allowed, thank you. The Chiltern mainline runs from Princes Risborough (5 minute drive from the house) and Haddenham and Thame Parkway (8 minute drive) direct to London (40 minutes) and Oxford (40 minutes). The house is also only a one hour drive from Central London and a 45 minute drive from Heathrow Airport. We do have neighbours and are in a beautiful quiet hamlet so though we want you to enjoy the space and outdoors loud music and parties are not permitted. Please do respect this rule. I am afraid we don’t take pets unless organised in advance and for special circumstances. Dogs are charged at £60 per dog per stay if pre-agreed. Please note that due to the time it takes to clean and change over the house. Check in is 3:00pm and check out is 9:30. Unless previously requested and we will of course try to accommodate you and often can offer earlier check in’s so please do ask. Also please only have as many guests as we accommodate unless otherwise agreed. We do not allow extra people to come for events etc unless discussed in advance. Thank you
