Peaceful Apartment in WW1 area countryside

Enjoy a nice stay in the heart of WW1 battlefields! Our flat is lodged in a typical old farm in a peaceful and beautiful landscape. Pleasant living room with exclusive view on the Authuille English cemetery with small kitchen. Upstairs, 2 lovely bedrooms (1 with large bed, 1 with 2 single beds) with view on the cemetery, bathroom. We would love to share our best walks with you, indicate all the historical sites to visit and give you advice to make your stay unforgettable. For our visitors who would like to enjoy a local gastronomic meal, we would be pleased to propose you several addresses which 2 of them are in Authuille. Authuille is located in the heart of WW1 battlefields. There is a lot of historical sites to visit a few miles around: - Thiepval Memorial (20 min by walk) - Ulster Tower (35 min by walk) - Beaumont-Hamel Newfoundland Memorial (45 min by walk) There is also a lot of museums in Albert, Péronne etc. We would be pleased to give the best iinformation. Paris is about 2 hours away by road and the international airport of Charles de Gaulle (Roissy) is 1.5 hours drive away or we have a local TGV (fast train) service (station: Haute Picardie) from which you can reach Paris or Lille (Eurostar) in about 30 minutes. We are only 95 miles away from Calais and the English Channel and the motorway exit to reach Authuille is about 20 minutes. We can park your vehicle in front of the apartment.
