The garden is also shared and there are tables and chairs. For sociable dinners there is also a barbecue with firewood (charges apply). A pergola with a table and chairs for each accommodation unit serves as a private outdoor area. Your pets are welcome, at no supplementary charge. Please note though that the site is not fenced and there are already three small dogs on site. A large, free, communal parking area is available. Wireless Internet access can be provided on request. The agricultural enterprise has been owned by the current family since 1925. The limestone and marl soil is perfect for cultivating wine and olives. Wine is cultivated on an area of around eight hectares. An area of 60 hectares has old olive trees, with local sorts, which are harvested to produce a high-quality, extra virgin olive oil. Another large area is covered with pine and chestnut trees. There is also a small production of honey and dried figs from Carmignano. It is an agriturismo that rents out holiday accommodation to holiday-makers. It is possible to take part in various painting and drawing courses, as well as decorating and craft courses, held by the artist Gualtiero Cagna (duration 4 or 8 hours). During the breaks, typical Tuscan meals and tasting of olive oil and wine produced on site are offered. You can register for the courses on arrival. Various types of massages, spa and beauty treatments are also available to guests. Conveniently performed by a certified Cosmetologist right in the comfort of your holiday apartment or, if you prefer, in an outdoor setting, they are offered at reasonable prices. The farm is in the hills at an altitude of 180 to 300 metres above sea level and at the foot of the forests that cover Montalbano. It is in the midst of a landscape that stretches around Carmignano in the province of Prago, with a view to the east of Prato (11km), to the south-east of Florence /25km) and to the north towards Pistoia (20km). The location is peaceful and quiet and offers a unique landscape. The house is on two floors. On the ground floor there are the living room with a fireplace and a kitchen with an oven, fridge, washing machine and kettle. The kitchen is fully equipped and also has a dining table. On the ground floor there are also a two-bed room, in which the beds (each 90 x 195cm) can be joined together as a double bed, and a small bathroom with a shower. At the foot of the stairs that lead to the first floor there is also a larger bathroom with a bath. On the first floor, a large and very light bedroom with a double bed (165 x 190cm) awaits you, to which a single bed can be added if required. The room overlooks the garden.
