In the park you find various trails where you can test your biking skills, as well as you can find longer trails in the mountains. Other activates you can find in the area is canoeing, horse riding and a fitness center. For those who want to try their fishing luck there are several fishing opportunities in the area. In the winter the place can offer great cross-country ski trails, dog sledding, sleigh rides and muck more. Charming Lillehammer is just a short drive away. Here you will find shops, restaurants, coffee shops and museums. Maihaugen Museum is worth a visit. The amusement parks Hunderfossen and Lilleputthammer are recommended.
