A high spec immaculate one-bedroomed barn conversion in beautiful Suffolk countryside in the village of Wortham. Nestled in the ground of owner's 1830's cottage that is mentioned in a local history book "Parson and People in a Suffolk Village". Completely Self contained , own access via a 5-bar gate with parking, decking and gas BBQ. Rural, secluded area, views over an acre of cottage garden, common land and surrounded by fields beyond and no near neighbours. Abundance of wildlife . The space is light and airy and completely new throughout finished late summer 2019 . It is decorated and furnished with care and detail to give comfort, relaxation and privacy. All cleaning/washing products are eco friendly and recycling where possible encouraged . Open-plan living space with fully-equipped kitchen, plenty of worktop space and lighting to prepare and enjoy meals and a Lavazzo coffee maker. Separate bedroom with French doors for lazy summer breakfasts on decking and separate double glazed windows . Luxury en suite Shower with underfloor heating . There is also a separate toilet. Eco electric heating and heated towel rails in both shower room and toilet for cosy winter stays. Enjoy beautiful night skies as no street lighting to obstruct your view! Super-king John Lewis bed (can be separated for 2 singles) (travel cot can be provided for babies up to 6 months old) Washing machine available for stats over 5 nights . Eco Hand wash liquid to wash out odd item to save use of washing machine with Airer for outside drying only. Table and Chairs, cushions for decking area Gas BBQ and utensils available. We have a cat but she is definitely NOT allowed into Rhubarb Barn. Dogs are not permitted due to other barn users with allergies and our cat on site. We provide recycling bins . This is a non smoking property inside and outside or anyway on whole site . Heat Sensors connected to cottage . The property is equipped with 2 heat sensors, a fire extinguisher and fire blanket . Fully self contained Private parking on gravel drive through 5-bar gate Decking area which has screening with hazelnut hurdles to give privacy Key safe available if host unable to meet you on arrival . Owners live nearby and are happy to help make your stay enjoyable but are not intrusive. If there is a problem we will always wear a mask to enter Rhubarb Barn . Very quiet rural location Wortham Post office which is well stocked for every day essentials. It also has a Tea Room serving breakfast lunches great cakes and lovely stuff! (walkable) Wortham pub The Manor House is unfortunately now closed . Many other excellent pubs in the area especially recommended is The Crosskeys, Hoxne Swan, The Fox at Garboldisham (5 miles away) . The Fox has weekly food vans very good value and bands booked in a regular basis . Starwings a local brewery serving food and in house baker which is just over a mile away. Closed over winter months . There is also a small shop opposite Crosskeys. Diss a market town with train station is only 4.3 miles away. Train to Norwich just 18 minutes away . Supermarkets in Diss : Morrisons, Tesco's and Aldi Many individual coffee shops and a few clothing stores. Diss Corn Hall cultural centre with cinema and extensive programme and cafe with great foods from Fredericks Delicatessen . Leisure Centre/Library Park with Mere and children’s play area Southwold, Dunwich Aldeburgh The Broads all less than an hour away . Sutton Ho also less than an hour away Redgrave & Lopham Fen National Nature Reserve Suffolk Wildlife Centre is few miles away . The floors are vacuumed and cleaned throughout , high touch areas such as door handles, tv remotes, work surfaces and window sills are cleaned after each snd every stay. . All bedding and towels and tea towels washed at 60 c with EcoCover /Method clothes washing liquid . All cleaning and washing products used and supplied in Rhubarb Barn are eco friendly for visitors and our environment and compatible with our septic tank as not on main sewage . Lavazzo coffee machine with capsules to get you settled , milk and small welcome items . Extensively kitted out kitchen with full set of utensils pots and pans, cheese board and steak knives and hand mixer .
