Situated near Beamish museum, Emirates Riverside (Durham CCC), Gibside Manor, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Durham city. Our modern Deluxe Family Room has a comfy kingsize bed and two comfy singles a large flat screen TV, tea & coffee making facilities, toiletries and towels. The Deluxe has an en-suite with shower. I've grown up and always lived in the old mining village of Craghead, so was delighted when I had the chance to the become the owner of The Punch Bowl, Bar/Restaurant/B&B and give it a new lease of life. My manager, Luan, has worked within the hospitality industry for years, so together with our dedicated team, we welcome guests from all over the globe, to either take a trip through history at Beamish Museum, visit the cities of Newcastle Upon Tyne and Durham or just spend a night in our friendly bar full of Northern charm. The Punch Bowl is situated in an old mining village within County Durham. We are central to many places of interest just a short taxi or bus ride away ( bus stop metres away from the Punch Bowl). We have Beamish Open Air Museum, Gibside, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Durham City and Durham County Cricket Ground (Emirates Riverside) just to name a few. We also have some lovely walks and are less than 2 miles off the Coast to Coast bike route. We are also near to many Wedding venues in the area.
