Family Villa with Pool, Legrena

A lovely family home, spacious and comfortable ideal for your holidays in Attica. Situated less than 5 minutes away from Sounio and the Ancient Temple of Poseidon, in the Esperides neighbourhood of Legrena village, it combines the peacefulness of the countryside with beautiful beaches within reach, with the exclusiveness of a large private pool within a 1000sqm garden. Ideal for families with children, couples, or anyone who wants to enjoy a holiday by the sea. The fully equipped house and its beautiful surroundings make up a unique environment for a pleasant and relaxed stay. In the privacy of your own garden you can swim, BBQ or even exercise. The spaces layout along with the water and a fully blossomed garden work in harmony to provide you with the perfect set up for wellness and relaxation. The house of 100sqm is laid out in two levels connected by an indoor stairway and has windows in all directions. On the upper floor there are 2 bedrooms, each with its private balcony, with a view of the sea and the pool respectively. On the main floor is the spacious living room area, that can double as a sleeping area for two if needed. Also on the same level is a fully equipped kitchen (fridge, oven, el. stove/oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, plates and cutlery), a large bathroom and a laptop friendly study area. The main level has terraces running almost all around the house, with a sitting area for six adjacent to the kitchen to accommodate your outdoor meals. In the backyard there is a 55sqm, 3m deep, pool with hydromassage, a diving board, an outdoor douche, 4 sun beds, a large kiosk and a 60sqm basketball court. Also in the backyard there is a fully equipped BBQ with a shaded dining area for 6 that can be accessed very easily from the house. The layout of the garden paths make sure that you can access and enjoy the yard and its amenities in its entirety. Last but not least, there is a large, naturally shaded, private parking area on the premises. Guests have full and sole access to all the spaces available as have been described above. The house is cleaned professionally before guest arrival and extra sets of sheets and towels are provided. The pool filter is cleaned every 4-5 days, and the garden is maintained by us every 2-3 days. On windy days you might find leaves on the surface of the pool, but there will be a leaf rake available so you can remove them easily before your swim. Legrena is a small village, located in the south of Attica region, famed for its island-like beaches. The village is 64,5km from Athens and 35km from El. Venizelos Airport. In the village (walking distance) you may find bakeries, a mini market, a butcher, a cafeteria and lovely fish and meat taverns. Sounio is just 3,5km away. An exquisite archaeological site featuring The Temple of Poseidon and The Sanctuary of Athena and the perfect place to enjoy the most beautiful sunset. The Historic city of Lavrio is 12km, where you can find a list of cultural attractions, among others the Ancient Theater of Thorikos which dates from 525-480 BC. There is also the old industrial area that is being reused for cultural activities. You may also find super markets and banks, restaurants, coffee shops and open-air cinemas. Enjoy a walk on the marina or catch a ferry for the Cyclades Islands from the city's busy port. Palaia Fokaia & Anavyssos Beach are also 12km (direction to Athens). There you can enjoy a walk in the lovely marina, boosting with summer cultural activities or enjoy one of its many fish taverns. And of course, Anavyssos Beach is ideal for aspiring or experienced surfers. Lastly, spreading between Lavrio and Legrena is a fantatic National Park, ideal for hiking, mountain biking, bird watching and picnics under the trees. It is best for your overall experience to make arrangements for a car. I am at your disposal to help you in anyway possible with regards to local transportation or information on car rentals. *We are making sure the house is thoroughly sanitised between guests according to the appropriate guidelines. Also all the air conditioning machines are disinfected and only to be used with specific instructions. There is a space below the main house, fully separated, that me or someone from my family will be using occasionally for the required maintenance (cleaning pool filters, garden maintenance etc).
