The Polo Shack

Be totally immersed in a stud farm just outside Winchester. The Polo Shack is a log cabin with the world's most unusual bathroom - a converted Rice horse trailer, parked right outside, that has become a wonderfully cosy and luxurious loo and shower. The cabin is surrounded on two sides by trees and hedges, and faces our polo arena - so you can watch horses being ridden from every window! The Polo Shack was once the clubhouse for the polo club - and is now a gorgeous and unusual place to stay, with a totally unique bathroom - in a horse trailer that is parked adjacent to the shack. We live here on the farm so are happy to help or advise if you need us This is a very pretty part of Hampshire with masses of things to do in the local area - as well as extensive walking, cycling and riding direct from the door You can get a bus to South Wonston but it is much easier to drive. You can park near the Polo Shack here on the farm You will be staying on a working equine farm - there will be horses, and the people who ride the horses, all going about their business. If you want total privacy, this is absolutely not the place. If you want a fun, quirky stay in a really nice part of Hampshire, with stunning countryside on the doorstep, then it is! This is a rustic stay - you will have to walk outside to access the trailer bathroom. There is hot water in the bathroom but only cold water in the kitchen - but you can heat water for washing up in the kettle or in a pan.
