Detached flint barn & log burner near South Downs

A lovely detached one bedroom Sussex flint barn, refurbished in 2017, close to South Downs National Park and the stunning Long Man of Wilmington, ideal for Glyndebourne (18 mins). We are in a quiet no through lane within 20 minutes walking distance of 3 pubs & 2 tearooms. Sofa bed in the lounge and an extra single pull out in the bedroom allow up to 5 guests to stay. New for 2020,enclosed front deck and BBQ/lounge area+fire pit. Good dogs are welcome, but a £20 supplement is payable on arrival. A lovely old detached 19th century barn which was renovated in June 2017. This is a detached cottage so it is all yours. There are two outdoor areas to the front and side for outside dining and relaxing. Car and bike parking is in the yard. We live next door so it is easy. If you need anything during your stay feel free to knock on our door or we are contactable on our mobile phones at reasonable times! We'll leave you alone but available if you need help. It's a beautiful rural paradise, the Good Life is here! It's surprisingly convenient for road (main road 1 mile) and rail ( stations 3miles) Cycling and walking should be part of your stay. Taxis are always at Polegate station. We have car parking and good road access. The cottage is fully equipped as a self catering cottage. A welcome pack of essentials such as tea coffee sugar, milk, fresh eggs from our own chickens and cleaning products are supplied (please note we have temporarily suspended this due to Covid-19).
