Välkommen till ett boende ett stenkast från havet och skogen med goda kommunikationer till både Helsingborg och Landskrona. Helsingborgs södra E20-avfart ligger inte långt borta. Boendet erbjuder ett stopp utöver det vanliga. The area is called Raus and is located in the outskirts of Helsingborg. Although the house is relatively new, the surrounding area is filled with history that goes far back. There are two nature reserves close by, Ättekulla forest and Råådalen, which provide nice opportunities for walking and running. Along the walking paths you will also find information stations that describe the surroundings history and nature. Below Raus, in the direction of the sea, you will find Råå. Råå is an old fishing village that offers swimming, cold baths with a sauna, a museum, shops, pharmacies and several restaurants. Several of them are located along the beach promenade, in the harbor and along the main street, Rååvägen. You will see the fishing village from the terrace. If you plan to visit Helsingborg's city or take the ferry over to Helsingør and Copenhagen, we recommend you to take the bus 2 to Helsingborg Central. From here you can either take trains via Malmö to Copenhagen, or ferry to Helsingor and trains from there. Tickets can be purchased via Skånetrafiken's app or at the Ferry station. Helsingör is itself a pleasant excursion destination. Kronborg Castle, the Marine Museum, the aquarium and the city center are all nice to explore. So of also the areas North of Helsingborg, the areas surround Höganäs and Kullaberg, offer beautiful scenery and good eateries, well worth exploring.
