4-Bed Villa, Private Heated Pool, Air Conditioning, Great Location, 5-star rvws
SUMMER 2022 - GREAT DEALS AVAILABLE 7 - 14 July PLS GET IN TOUCH A contemporary conversion of a classic Quercy stone barn, this spacious house sleeps 8 comfortably. Air-conditioning in all 4 bedrooms. 2 SuperKing size Doubles, 2 x Twin rooms. 2 bathrooms (1 ensuite), plus separate wcs. Open plan kitchen, superb outdoor sofa seating and deck area. The house is situated on the edge of a small, quiet, hilltop village; good restaurant within walking distance. Stunning views out over valleys and rolling countryside. The village has its own bakery. Overall, a peaceful and very quiet location. The 12m x 4m heated pool is installed with a natural low salt/chlorine process - purification without horrible smell of chlorine pool smell (and kinder on the eyes). Shaded terracing with BBQ and outdoor table and chairs for dining al fresco. Supremely comfortable outdoor sofa area. Surrounded by rolling countryside and set within a small sleepy village the house is an excellent base to explore the beautiful medieval towns of Lauzerte, Montjoi and Moissac. Or snooze by the private heated pool and let the world come to you. There's a small classic (very friendly) French restaurant only moments from the house. Or we can put you in touch with a local professional chef who'll come and shop and cook for you. Slightly further afield, there's canoeing, horse-riding and golf. Walkers can enjoy the trails and long distance paths in the area and for cyclists the roads are generally quiet, pot-hole free with some excellent ups and even better downs. There are food markets to be visited most days of the week and night markets in the summer - Agen (where the prunes come from) is a favourite. The major international city of Toulouse is around 90 mins away, 90km from Bergerac airport. There really is something for all tastes.
