A 1 bedroom apartment with a stunning view over the sea (Gulf of Corinth) and situated only 15 meters from the beach is available to rent. The apartment is on the 2th floor of a 5 storey building with a balcony that also faces a nice green back garden (bbq equipment is also available). Lift is available …so no need to use the stairs. The first bedroom has two single beds and the second bedroom has a double bed and a sofa bed. Towels, bed linen, kitchen and cooking equipment, air conditioning, TV and wifi are provided. Parking is not a problem in the neighbourhood. The apartment is close to the city centre (5 minutes walk), supermarkets and local grocery stores where you can try fresh tasteful fruits and vegetables and discover the miracles of the Mediterranean greek cuisine. Restaurants, cafes and bars at the seaside are also at a walking distance (<10 min). Kiato is only 1 hour drive from Athens and 20 minutes from Ancient Corinth with its magnificent fortress Acrocorinth. There is also a direct train to Athens and to the airport with one change at Kato Acharnai. You can explore the local ancient archaeological site Sikyon. You can also visit other important archaeological sites in Peloponnese. Myceanea and the famous ancient theatre of Epidaurus are 45 minutes drive from Kiato. Argos, Nafplion, Sparta, Monemvasia are within 2 hours drive. If you enjoy mountain hiking you can also visit Stymfalia (known from the Hercules’ Sixth Labor: The Stymphalian Birds) and Kalavrita. It is the perfect place for families with tavernas offering the tastiest greek food and with a beautiful coastline to explore.
