Magical, Stylish, Comfortable, Brilliant Location
A tastefully furnished and decorated two bedroom Victorian house within easy walking distance of the Sevenoaks town centre and also the train station to London (both take fifteen minutes). Totally refurbished, it offers very comfortable accommodation for families, couples and business travellers. With SUPERHOST rating you can be assured of a high quality experience at my home. I now have an adoring young cat called Mimi who will be resident - she’s cat flap independent - but will need feeding. Creatively decorated home - all mod cons, a beautiful home to relax in - you can't do better! Downstairs it provides a stylish spacious living area, fully fitted kitchen with cosy bench seating at the rear. Upstairs, it has a large double bedroom with a king size bed and also a smaller second bedroom with two single beds. For your absolute comfort, I have provided double duvets on the single beds! There is both drawer and hanging space. The garden is an absolute delight with a raised decking area for eating, a lower garden with two ponds and a garden swing under a covered area. Although I say it myself, it’s an oasis of calm! To create a certain quirkiness, my two guinea pigs have the run of the decking area and will come to you for carrots and leaves! There is FREE street parking. I do not allow smoking in the house and ask you to take your shoes off while inside. You will have the whole house to yourselves..... High speed internet TV & DVD Sevenoaks town centre - ten to fifteen minute walk Main line station to London - fifteen minute walk -25 minute train into central London London Gatwick - 35 minute drive London Heathrow - 50 minute drive Stanstead Airport - 50 minute drive Knole Park with deer - once the home of Henry V111 but now the Sackville West family - five minute walk Hever Castle - home of Ann Boleyn and Henry V111 - 30 minute drive Chartwell - home of Winston Churchill - twenty minute drive Ightham Mote - a stunning moated medieval home - fifteen minutes drive Camber Sands - 43 mile drive This is my own personal home but I will be away so you can enjoy the whole house and garden to yourselves. With delightful neighbours, the house is within a Sevenoaks conservation area - within 500m you can visit Rafferty's (our yummy local coffee shop) or in Hollybush, a great playground for the kids with an adjacent coffee shop for ice creams, cakes, sandwiches and coffee. A hundred metres further on and you can walk into Knole Park our fabulous deer park, with its stunning historical house visited by the infamous King Henry VIII. Sevenoaks town centre in a ten/fifteen minute walk with all the obvious shops, restaurants and pubs. It is a very green and thriving town. Sevenoaks mainline station for trains to London is a fifteen minute walk or a five minute drive - trains take twenty five minutes to Charing Cross which is our central London station. Taxis (numbers provided) Buses two minutes away Everything you need is within a fifteen minute walk Lovely Indian restaurant 50m away - Banana Leaf I simply adore my home and garden and therefore hope you enjoy and respect it as I do. Please keep your paws off my wine! With families it must be noted I don’t have cots, high chairs or stair gates and little ones would need to be closely supervised, as inside there are numerous nick knacks and outside, there are two ponds and steep steps. Scruff and Bubbles are my two guinea pigs who live on the decking and appreciate being given carrots and greens (both provided) but now because of foxes, I ask you to entice them back into their hutch with treats early evening but can then be let out to enjoy the freedom of the decking during the day.
